Never, ever order flowers from FTD.com. In the last three orders I've been sent (don't ask), every single one of them has been the incorrect order. Entire bouquets were missing. The roses/lilies I just got a few minutes ago? Dead, or very near it. The site and the note inside the boxes say that the flowers are guaranteed to last for seven days, but I'm lucky if they're not drooping by the next morning after I've received them.
The delivery service is atrocious. They do not knock, they merely leave the boxes outside my door. Twice they've done this with no one even home. They could have been stolen by troublesome kids, ripped apart by animals, or simply wilted because of the Californian sun. This time, the third, I was told to be home by the sender, thus ruining the surprise, but what else can be done?
Even after the person who sent them called to complain and let them know he was not impressed, even when they promised that the terrible service was a once ever thing, they have failed to come through yet again.
FTD.com is a horrible company that ruins the beautiful flowers and endearing moments. They are expensive, they are subpar.
Please, keep this in mind next time you need to send flowers!
EDIT: An hour or so later I received another order and the flowers were crushed. Are these people serious?
This is so badass. Soundwave breakdancing.
TRANSFORMEEEERS. The movie better not suck.
Safe for work, as long as you're allowed sound. If not, turn off your speakers and just watch, it'll do.

I should be content or something close to it. I've started dating a sweet guy, I'm doing well in my psych class...I have something of a social life because of that and going out with friends from time to time. I have free time to draw, write, play videogames...
And I feel like I have nothing to say. What the hell.
I miss the snow.
So this looks like a good site, I think, to learn Mandarin. I'd kind of like the opinion of others, though. Preferrably people who speak Mandarin, but I don't think anyone who reads this does.

Humble opinions, anyone?
I found the company that was serving the yummy stuff at Lollapalooza in Chicago this year. As soon as I get back to California, I'm going to buy a ton of all necessary ingredients and go to town. And it's healthy!
I used to live in a town called Ojai. I worked on the main street of the town, right across from the town park. There's a big Spanish arcade on both sides of the street of which the town is pretty proud. Every day, when I looked out from the storefront of my workplace, there was this girl sitting in the dip between the fountain in the center of the arcade and an arch. She was always blowing bubbles. Sometimes she brought an old little boombox and played random music. I don't think she ever talked to anyone, and even though I wanted to, I was too chicken to go up to her and ask her why she did it. I'm going back to Ojai soon and I kind of hope she's still there so I can finally ask.
"What time period would you have lived in, if you could have lived at any time?"
Victorian Era, easily. Lace, corsets, chivalrous men, clandestine debauchery, traveling circuses, cowboys...need I continue?
